Historic Hotel Colorado
Saturday, October 13th, 2007This sensational event was a celebration of the tradition of culinary delights throughout the Roaring Fork Valley and featured some of the areas finest restaurants. In addition, hundreds of fine wines and microbrews from wineries and breweries throughout Colorado and the U.S. were featured.
"It's all good!" Mannya Haltom emphatically said. "The wine! The brews! The food! The music! The camaraderie!"
As Culinary Arts Wine & Brewfest coordinator, Haltom was excited about the 2007 event. "The Wine & Brewfest is a wonderful way to get the community together under one roof in the spirit of celebration. This event is the most anticipated evening of the year for many locals and visitors to Glenwood Springs who enjoy the culinary arts. And this all benefits an incredibly beneficial cause: The Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts."
The proceeds from ticket sales help fund the many arts and cultural programs offered by the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts. Classes are offered for all skill levels. From the novice to the advanced student, anyone can further their knowledge of dance, visual arts, ceramic arts, piano, guitar, theatre and silversmithing. The Center also features a gallery which hosts shows presenting local, national, and international artists in a variety of media. In addition, the organization presents several performances, recitals, shows, and other events throughout the year.
