The Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts is a great place for community performances. With many events that are held annually, the community has come to expect the great talent and exciting performances that have become a tradition at the Center for the Arts. From Nina Storey to the Colorado Ballet, we host bright talent at the Center. If you are an artist and would like to schedule a performance, please call us at 970.945.2414. The curtain opens on Glenwood Springs’ 21th annual dance event, “Dancers Dancing”, featuring members of the Dance Companies and students from the Center for the Arts. Performances are Fri and Sat, April 30 and May 1 @7 p.m. with a 1:00 pm Matinee featuring our outreach dance students in the new Glenwood High School Auditorium. Tickets are $18 for adults and $10 for students, per show. Call us 945-2414 for information, tickets or if you would like to help.

 

 

 

Wild Women Exhibit 2k10

A summer of wild! We are especially excited to present this extraordinary art exhibit this summer. The extra time will give everyone an opportunity to enjoy this exhibit. This summer we are expanding our Wild Women gift shop so everyone can take an unusual piece of collectable art home.We have invited 14 wild, and avant garde women. They are all ready to bring you the unusual, fantastic and one-of-a kind works of art. This is an exhibit you do not want to miss! Please join us for the reception. (The Wild Women even dress up...it’s a requirement - oh you can too!) Wild refreshments will be served.

 

 

 

6th Street Connections - Coffeehouse - June 18 @ 7:00pm

Our new coffeehouse series is a smashing success. Please join us for the 2nd installment of this series. Music, poetry, dance, comedy and more make this a don't miss event. Enjoy fresh brewed coffee from the Blue Bird Cafe and goodies from our local bakeries. Wine and beer will also be available. Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non-members. All proceeds benefit the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts.
