Public Art...

The 2 Rivers Art Project Committee, The Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association, and the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts invites you to submit high quality outdoor sculptures  to be considered for the 2010/2011 2 Rivers Art Project in Glenwood Springs. This exhibit is open to professional and amateur artists of all backgrounds. Each artist may enter up to two works. There are no limitations on the dimensions of each work.

A selection committee will review all entries   and choose 10 pieces based on originality, durability, and suitability for outdoor display  and public safety considerations.

Upon acceptance into the year long display, artisans must be able to deliver their works by May 27/28, 2010 to the designated installation site. Local businesses, community members and visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the public art on display. Each year a sculpture will be purchased and made a permanent display in the city.
