Support The Arts

There are many ways you can support the Arts. The Arts are the Soul of a Community!

The Center for the Arts in Glenwood Springs is a place to create and enjoy the Arts. It is a place for you to gather with friends and applaud the artistic expressions of those around you. We nurture the emerging artist and the accomplished artist alike. We use the expression that the Arts are for Everyone! Talent is not only for a few select individuals, but it lies in all of us. You can support the Arts in lots of ways, the most important thing is to find a way that works for you and just do it!

Sponsor A Child

You can sponsor a child in the Arts for as little as $49 a month. Call the Center for the Arts for information.

Children fill the Center for the Arts with life and laughter and the Arts bring out the child in everyone. We nurture emerging artists and encourage everyone to dance with wild abandon, to play in the mud, learn to throw a pot instead of a tantrum, pain with their hands, tickle the ivories and sing their hearts out. The younger you begin the better.

Volunteer

You can volunteer at the Center for the Arts doing a myriad of things. We will trade you one hour of class time for every two hours of volunteer time. The volunteer hours that you work can also be donated to a child, so that they can attend classes. In the office, we always need help with filing, sorting, cleaning up files, bulk mailing, running errands... all kinds of little odd jobs that you could turn into tuition money! During the summer we need lots of volunteers. We will need someone everyday to supervise the Gallery Gift Shop. Please call 970.945.2414 for more information.

Planned Giving

Remember the Center for the Arts in your will. Many individuals plan their estate giving in advance and give to their favorite charities in their wills. Call the Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts for any documentation you might need.

Sponsor an Event

Your sponsorship is tax deductible. We have many events that you can sponsor and many levels that fit your needs.

Dancers Dancing: Spring: $1000 - underwrite the event and become a major sponsor: $500 and $250 receive acknowledgment in all media and advertisements and programs.

Wild Women Exhibition: Summer: $1000 - underwrite the event and become a major sponsor: $500 and $250 receive acknowledgment in all media and advertisements and programs.

Goddess Hafla: FAll: $1000 - underwrite the event and become a major sponsor: $500 and $250 receive acknowledgment in all media and advertisements and programs.

Culinary Arts Festival: Fall: $1000 - underwrite the event and become a major sponsor: $500 and $250 receive acknowledgment in all media and advertisements and programs.

You may also underwrite the refreshments for any artist reception or event that is held at the Center for the Arts.

Your donations are tax deductible at all times. You may specify where you want your donation to be used, or you may donate to general operation expenses.
